Creggan 8-05 Rasharkin 7-01

Creggan U16 camogs finally broke their duck on Friday evening, registering the first win of the campaign in the All-County U16 B League.
Defeats to Portglenone, Rossa and Gort Na Mona were put to bed in a high scoring south-west derby against Rasharkin.
Rasharkin dominated the first 10 minutes of play but were unable to put scores on the board which was due in no small part to Caoimhe McBride who pulled off some fantastic saves in the Creggan goal.
From the mid-way point of the 1st half until half time, Creggan went on a scoring spree and at the break lead their south west neighbours on a score line of 4-02 to 2-00.

Whatever their team talk at half time it worked wonders, as Rasharkin came out all guns blazing in the 2nd half.
They took the game to Creggan and started to pile on the pressure which saw them claw back to within 4 points of their hosts.
However, that was as good as it was to get, as further scores in the final 10 minutes from Mya Quinn, Sian Devlin and Maria Carey, once again put daylight between the teams.

A really fast, competitive and exciting game of camogie from both teams which was expertly refereed by the ever youthful Jimmy Totten (Cargin).
