Kickham's U14 Hurlers rounded off a great season on Saturday 21 August, winning the North Antrim U14 'B' Hurling Championship against a very skilful and resolute Sean Stinson's side.
The match had to go to a replay, after both teams had served up a dramatic draw at the end of normal and extra time, the previous Saturday at Armoy.
However three first half goals - a brace from corner forward Cormac Rice and another from full forward Niall Keenan, was the difference between the two teams.
Great credit must be given to Sean Stinson's who after two and a half games of championship final hurling, were only beaten by a couple of scores.
Well done to both teams! The final score was: Kickham's 3-06 v 2-05 Sean Stinson's.
