The last of the home trilogy and Creggan went in to this game with no injuries, though this time they did manage to have subs!

 

When you witnessed the previous weeks game you might ask yourself why bother?!, but after watching this game then you know what hurling is about. Perfect May day conditions between two good committed teams that gave it their all for the full hour.

 

Nip and tuck scoring saw Creggan lead at half time 2-07, 2-05 with the highlight of the half being a Conor McCann sideline cut put straight over the bar from 30m out.

 

At the restart, a further goal and 2 points saw Creggan take a 7 point lead, only for them to let Loughgiel back in to the match by allowing 6 unanswered scores thus culminating to an exciting finale to the match. Loughgile got the goals at the crucial times and for the secnd week in a row Creggan lost by the minimum of scores.

There are no games scheduled for the coming weeks due to school exams.
